To the Management and Staff of MBF Industries:

The Chula Vista Police Department recently took delivery of a new command post built by MBF Industries and everyone has been extremely pleased with your product. It is clear from my experience that MBF is an industry leader with regard to custom communications and command vehicles and their dedication to quality is second to none.

I took on this project with many challenges, including a 12' vehicle height limit and limited turning radius in our parking garage. While I had discussions with several vendors, John Baker was the first sales person to approach the problem from a different design perspective. He quickly sent detailed design specifications showing how a cab and chassis vehicle could meet our needs. John's expertise and suggestions helped me convince our leadership team that moving from a step van to a cab and chassis design was both feasible and beneficial from an operational standpoint.

Working with MBF was seamless since all production is in house, including the technology. Approaching the technology standpoint was made easier by Franz Iporre and his staffs' expertise in all aspects of computer networks and communications. Franz took all of the "global" ideas of what I wanted to accomplish and turned them into an integrated "turn-key" system that is well designed and simple to use. In fact, one of our regional communications experts noted that the design and implementation of the antenna and communications systems were top notch and they were very impressed with MBF's design and quality of work.

MBF's ability to build a totally custom product and coordinate every stage of production from design to delivery was a key to our project's success. I would highly recommend MBF as a top contender for any specialty vehicle project. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about the Chula Vista Police Department's project.

John and Jim,
Sorry it took a bit of time but we have been busy working through ramping up the command post for deployment and testing the systems. Franz has been patient and extremely supportive as we familiarize ourselves with the extensive technology. I just wanted to let you know that I posted to the website and will no hesitate to recommend MBF - you guys came through with a great product on a tight timeline.

I wanted to take a moment and really recognize Franz and his staff. I am sincere in expressing the Franz took my global ideas and concept of "keep it simple" to heart and really did a phenomenal job on the technology aspect. Also, Craig Tidd was great to work with and really delivered on the product you sold. There were no surprises, which was good.

You have true talent in your organization and there is a lot to be said of that. Finally, if you would, please express to your line level staff our appreciation for their hard work. As in any organization, it takes the hard work and attention to detail of craftsmen and line level staff to bring a project to fruition. It is clear that you select quality people and empower them to build a great product. I do no regret our decision to go with your company. Feel free to use me as a positive reference.

Best Regards,
Vern
