Includes a vehicle mounted antenna, controller and modem system for Internet access while the vehicle is parked and setup for operation. Service agreements to use features of the TracStar system are the responsibility of the vehicle purchaser.
An MVS960 auto-acquisition mobile broadband antenna from TracStar complete with commercial satellite modem will allow non-satellite skilled personnel complete communications capability over satellite. The user will contract directly with TracStar for a broadband service that meets the application and monthly budget requirements.

DSS System
A TracStar SV360 automatic acquisition, In-motion tracking satellite antenna compatible with DirecTV or Dish Network shall be mounted on the roof. The antenna system will have dual LNB outputs and two satellite TV receivers. The antenna shall not exceed the height of the roofline by more then 12.5". The operator interface display unit and two receivers will be located near the Operations Area. The receivers will be wired to Plasma display unit or LCD TV units and terminated at the equipment rack for cross patching to other display units. The DSS Satellite Dish and Receiver RF interconnection cables will use a plenum type RG-6, 75-Ohm coaxial cable (Belden 87120 or equivalent). The sound output from the DSS receivers will patch to speakers or to the workstations for audio headsets. An amplified TV antenna will also be installed for local TV broadcast reception.
